PARASH PATHAR !!!

Dalhousie Square was the most important commercial hub of Kolkata city. All the PSU commercial banks and reputed business offices were in this place only. In Indian Bank, the Paresh Chandra Dutta used to work as a clerk. Every day after 5 PM he used to come back to his home from office by bus or tram. On a special rainy evening, he came to his house by walking only because all the buses and trams were overcrowded with passengers. Paresh had no one except his wife. All the children of Paresh had died some years ago. Paltu was a little boy who lived in the neighboring house of Paresh. Paltu showed him a very special stone. Any object made of iron when touched with that special stone used to transform into a golden object. Mr. Dutta gave chocolates, toys and bhujias to Paltu in exchange of that special stone.

Paresh transformed all the objects in his house into golden object and sold it in the market. Slowly and gradually, he started becoming a rich person. Despite getting retrenchment in his clerical job, the 53 year old Paresh stopped going to the office as he got a source of income by using that special stone. The special stone was used to convert iron into gold and gold was used to earn money from the jewel shop owners. By spending 6 lakhs INR, Paresh constructed his own house, a garden and also bought a private car. Paresh also kept a personal secretary whose name was Priyotosh. The servant of Mr. Dutta also became rich in his lifestyles. As a businessman and politician, Mr. Dutta started visiting several cultural activities as a chief guest. He emphasized on the Bengali tradition and culture and also told his next generation people to respect and retain that Bengali tradition years after years.

Priyotosh suggested his boss to lessen the amount of charity. His boss took the suggestion in a very sporting manner but also told that no one should be deprived from charity. Everyone should get something in their pocket; otherwise Paresh may not get their votes in the next election. Priyotosh told him about the cocktail party invitation. Mr. Dutta attended the cocktail party. All were boozing in their own style. Mr. Paresh started singing ‘Baithaki toppa’, ‘Kirtaan’, ‘Hari-naam’ and Bengali folk songs with his own fusion style. Many people also joined him, but some of them were very irritated to hear all those Bengali songs in the era of discos and western rock music. Someone insulted Mr. Dutta. Paresh showed them the magic of that special stone out of anger. The jewel shop owner was impressed with that show. Next day, he came to meet Paresh and requested to start a partnership business with the help of that special stone. Mr. Dutta was smart enough to understand those tricks and that’s why, he uttered a Bengali poetry in the name of Sanskrit, ‘Holdey Sobuj Orang-Otang, eeet paatkel chith-potang’.

Priyotosh was a Bengali Christian but fell in love with a girl who hails from a very conservative Hindu family. Priyotosh was even to ready to become a Hindu after marrying that girl. In the meanwhile, Paresh understood the meaning of the Bengali statement, ‘Lobhey paap aar paapey mrityu’ (Greed is a sin and that sin leads to death). Mr. Dutta decided to visit his brother-in-law in Liluah. After that, he planned to go for a pilgrimage in Kasi, Hardiwar and Varanasi with his wife. Before going for the pilgrimage, he decided to donate some portion of his property to his personal secretary. He gave that special stone to Priyotosh. On the other hand, the jewel shop owner leaked the news to the media. The next day, the newspaper headline was ‘Iron turns into Gold’. After reading that news, Priyotosh’s girlfriend’s father refused to conduct her marriage with Priyotosh. In depression, Priyotosh swallowed that special stone as he was frustrated for not finding any cyanide inside Paresh’s house.

The Kolkata Police arrested Paresh and filed smuggling cases against him. The doctor confirmed that Priyotosh had digested the special stone. All the golden products regained their original form. Life without Gold was the golden life and vice-versa. To breathe a fresh air of lively and simple human life, you must have a glimpse of Satyajit Ray’s “PARASH PATHAR” of Tulsi Chakraborty and others.

SIVAJI - THE BOSS !!!

Still some of the eminent economists of the world believe that without a fair percentage of inflation, the world economy cannot prosper. The more you spend, the more you are creating the opportunity for the people lying in the lower half of the economies to generate more money for the global economy. But, there has to be a limit of inflation. A very poor country cannot afford to have inflation more than 5%. A developed country can still afford to have at most an inflation of 16%, but a developing country will start having ‘Economic Ashtma’ if the inflation in their country go beyond 12.9%. Why this inflation takes place? It is only because of the fact that the supply of money increases. So, indirectly, in mere theoretical terms, inflation can be defined as the number of times the supply of money increases than the actual demand of it. When the inflation increases, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. As a net result, there is a huge economic gap. Who fills up that gap? It is filled by the government of that nation in collaboration with IMF and World Bank to keep the global economy in control. As a net result, the fiscal deficits of some nations keep on increasing. When the diseases of fiscal deficit and corruption in credit policy become a contagious disease like H1N5 virus, then all the super economies of the world turns reddish to prove that the global economy is in economic recession which may very shortly lead to great depression.

One man of Tamil Nadu started investigating the real cause of inflation in our country. In a very short time, he found out that black money of our Indian businessmen is the real cause of inflation. The Swiss Bank is a corrupted bank which provokes the businessmen all over the world to invest their black money in this Switzerland Bank. But before spreading the tentacles on Swiss Bank, Mr. Sivaji started to spare the rod in Tamil Nadu only. Mr. Adi, a famous businessman cum notorious criminal of Tamil Nadu gave 50% of his black money to Sivaji to remain safe from Income Tax raids. Sivaji found out that around 20 million USD black money are there only in Tamil Nadu. Then, imagine what amount of black money is there in India. Is the Income Tax department of India sleeping or is it that they are yet to get proper investigating support from the CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation), as some CBI officials have become a puppet in the hands of some corrupted Indian politicians. Sivaji even contacted the NRI businessmen of USA and got their black money transferred in the ‘Sivaji Foundation’ accounts in Deutshe and ABN AMRO Bank.

Vidhyabharati loved Sivaji but she had so much believe in those superstitious ‘Janam Kundli’ that she was skeptical about marrying him. But, the maternal uncle of Sivaji was smart enough to give a great idea to Sivaji. The train was approaching towards him. He was about to die, but, Vidyabharati came to his rescue by waving the red colored cloth of her body. All the auditors, accountants and the jobless persons were invited by Sivaji. A section of them promised to help him in collecting all the black money. Those who were not interested were called inside the office room. After some banging bargaining and negotiations, the injured men promised to help Sivaji. All the poor people also joined Sivaji because they had belief in the functioning of ‘Sivaji foundation’, which ran like a parallel private government in Tamil Nadu. The ‘Sivaji Foundation’ started functioning in Madurai district after giving real treatment to the Panchayat and BDO officers in the office room of Sivaji.

All the politicians of Tamil Nadu were jealous of Sivaji because of his parallel private government. Poor people were getting free medication in Sivaji foundation hospitals. They were getting free education in the Sivaji foundation schools. Ultimately, the poor people got their real caring government in the form of ‘Sivaji Foundation’. Adi targeted the weak point of Sivaji. As a wife, Vidyabharati wanted to save her beloved hubby. She had no other choice. But, the laptop of Sivaji had a great computer programming with the Japanese voice-recognition technology. The constable gave him the rice plate with the mobile handset inside the heap of rice. He saw all the MMS clips and send one copy to the doctor. The doctor understood the plan and saved him at the last moment after he took the electrical shock intentionally.

After the death of Sivaji, the NRI friend of him, Mr. Amitabh Bacchan took the charge of ‘Sivaji Foundation’. The bald headed Bacchan performed the same skills with the coin in front of Adi. Adi smelled the rat. He promised to give him all his black money, but alas, the Amitabh had some other plans. One of the students in the nearby school got his capitation fee and Adi was unable to take his coin with him on his journey to hell. Arrey, Munna, the wild boars come in herds to fight but the Royal Bengal Tiger comes alone to hunt his enemies. That’s why; Royal Bengal Tiger is the national animal of India. After collecting all the black money from all the corrupted Indian businessmen and politicians, Sivaji surrendered in front of CBI for a mere punishment of 6 months jail. The ‘Sivaji foundation’ kept on performing its social work for the poor and down-trodden people of India. It was not confined within Tamil Nadu only. The NGO opened its branches all over India. The modern India became an economic superpower of the world to be listed under G-10 countries of the world under the efficient administration of the Hindu Hindustani Hero, “SIVAJI – THE BOSS”.

KAILASHEY KELENKAARI !!!

Recently, the numbers of air crashes have increased in India due to poor aviation infrastructures and callous attitude of Indian Aviation Ministry. Suman, the news anchor of Star Ananda TV News Channel read the confirmed information that all the 158 passengers have died in the recent plane crash at Siddiqpur.

Siddheswar Bose gave the news that Mr. Silverstine died in that plane crash but not that precious object. They were late by 1 hour; otherwise, they could have collected it from that site. A tyre puncture took place. While sitting outside a tea shop, Mr. Bose confirmed that Jayanta also went to that site.

Everyone was interested to go to Aurangabad. Some people went in train and some went in flight. They booked a house in MSDC lodge of Aurangabad. Subhankar is a professor of Arts and Geology in Michigan University. He came here to observe Ellora caves and write a book on it.

Recently, vandalism has increased in India. The Indian government is not taking strict steps to stop smuggling of important historical statues of ancient India to western countries. The word ‘Vandal’ came from the Roman age. When the Romans used to destroy all the beautiful things while conquering the territories, they were known as vandals. Mr. Jatayu brought a small military bomb with him. It was gifted to him by one of his fans.

Next day, they started their journey towards Ellora Caves. Ellora Caves is just 35 Km from Aurangabad. On their way, they saw a fort in Daulatabad which was constructed under the order of the King Muhammad Bin Tughluq. The road towards Ellora caves is really a fascinating one. Thanks to the Maharashtra government for taking utmost care towards their state tourism department. A cameraman of National Geographic TV Channel, a history professor of City College of Kolkata and an artist were also going to visit the Ellora caves. In Aurangabad, there is a mini duplicate of Taj Mahal, which was constructed under the order of the King Azam Shah.

Ellora caves have total 32 caves with the famous Kailash temple inside the cave no. 16. These caves were created in and around 700 AD under the reign of Krishna III, a famous king of the Rashtrakutas dynasty. The Rastrakutas were a famous dynasty of the ancient South India like the Pallavas and the Cholas. The entire Ellora cave was created by cutting down a hill in a very artistic fashion. In that time of ancient India, the quality of Indian arts and sculpture was just superb and that’s why, still the people from all over the world visit India to see the historical places of ancient India.

One should walk a mile after dinner so that the food gets digested very easily. In the midnight, someone flashed torchlight inside the Rakhit’s room. Some secret works were going on inside the Ellora caves at midnight. Mr. Bose saw someone. Next day, Sam Wilson, the owner of an Art Gallery in USA was complaining about a fried egg to Chattraj. Mr. Mitter was smart enough to understand the smell of that fried egg. Rupa, a local model came to that location to shoot for an ad for Senco Jewellers. The shooting got cancelled because someone committed suicide in that location.

The Lodge Manager and Sub Inspector Ghote promised to help Pradyosh Mitter. The room of Tapesh Ranjan and Lalmohan babu was searched by an unknown person. The sukto curry ordered by the Allahabadi Bengali was not bad at all. Just before that moment, a detective caught another detective who was travelling with Sam Wilson. The cameraman of National Geographic Channel gave the news that a vandal had been arrested. The Chattaraj found a piece of paper in his room, which was not written by Jatayu but by Feluda.

The instruction came from Mr. Mitter that his assistant and the writer friend should reach the cave no. 15 at 5 AM and after waiting there for 5 minutes they should come to the south-east block of its upper storey. The detective caught the murderer of Subhankar. This time, no one can block the promotion of Sub-Inspector Ghote, the Kolkata boy. The Raja-Rani temple of Bhubaneswar is also renowned all over the world for the ancient Indian statues kept inside it. At last, the case of “KAILASHEY KELENKAARI” got resolved.

JAI BABA FELUNATH !!!

Once upon a time, Pradyosh Mitter, Tapas Mitter and Lalmohan Ganguly went to spend their holidays in Varanasi. They stayed in ‘Kolkata lodge’ of Varanasi. Varanasi was also known as Kasi, the land of 33 million temples of Hindu Gods and Goddesses. Varanasi is basically a holy place for the Hindus. Every year, millions of Hindu devotees come here to take a holy dip in the River Ganges. In the ghats of Varanasi, you can see many hermits who are preaching about Hindu mythology, philosophy and lifestyles to their respective devotees.

Pradyosh, Tapas and Lalmohan had to share a ‘four single bedded’ room with a body-builder. He was Mr. Bagchi. His biceps were around 17.5 inches. He also gave some knowledge about triceps and quadriceps to Mr. Jatayu. In the Varanasi ghat, they saw the ‘Machli Baba’ (Fishy Hermit). The Lodge manger said that the local devotees of Varanasi are of the opinion that the hermit crossed the Ganges to reach the Ghat. The hermit used to give the dried skin pieces of the fishes to his devotees. Beside the hermit, there were women who were singing Hindu hymns. Mr. Felu rightly spotted a cheap tattoo on the hermit’s body with the help of his binocular. Umakanto Ghoshal also came to visit the Machli Baba and got introduced to Pradyosh Mitter through the lodge manager. Umakanto wanted a help from Mr. Mitter.

Next day, Mr. Mitter visited the ‘Ghoshal Villa’. The grandfather of Umakanto was hearing the gramophone. Rukminikumar was playing games with the pigeons on the terrace of that villa. The Senior Ghoshal assigned a job to Feluda. Bikash was the caretaker of that house. Actually, his father was the colleague of the senior Ghoshal. After his father’s death, he was living in this house. Captain Spark loved riddles. Mr. Ruku loved stamp collecting and painting too. Who was Raxit and Gandaria in this case was yet to be solved, but, the sparking boy gave a hint, ‘The object is with the African King, otherwise, it will go to Atlantis.’ The Mitter had to prove that his brain is his greatest weapon.

Someone invited him but he insisted to visit that place with two other persons also. The three musketeers visited his den. The businessman requested him to stay away from this case by taking 2000 bucks. But, he refused to accept the bribe. Someone fired from the ventilator, but luckily he missed the target. Arjun was a knife thrower. He displayed a fantastic circus by keeping the uncle standing in front of a knife-throwing board. The Jatayu was still alive and Mr. Mitter promised to take the revenge.

Mr. Bagchi got a piece of paper in his bed, where it was written ‘Saabdhan’. The Bagchi decided to leave Varanasi as it was a place of notorious criminals. Bagchi had good biceps, triceps and quadriceps but he used to regard his body as a temple like Michelangelo considered the statue of ‘David’ as a work of art. Pradyosh confirmed that the threat was for him but not for Bagchi. Therefore, the people of Bengali club should see the ‘Biswasree’ temple instead of ‘Biswanath’ temple in Varanasi.

Shoshi, the idol-maker cum artist was busy in creating the idol of Goddess Durga. No matter, wherever a Bengali stays; whether in Bengal or outside, he always participates and performs the Durga Puja. The Durga idol was ready for the Durga Puja festival at the ‘Ghoshal Villa’. The lanes of Varanasi are dark and haunted in the evening. The bulls and cows are everywhere in the lanes of Varanasi. In that haunted evening, the three musketeers were walking through a lane of Varanasi. They found Shoshi. Somebody pierced a knife at Shoshi’s back. Before dying, Shoshi uttered a Bengali word.

On Saturday evening or night, there was no program schedule for ‘Akhtari’ Ghazal songs in Lucknow Radio center. Then what was he listening to? Meghraj saw him and later utilized him to do the job. But, Bikash did a blunder by telling about Shoshi to him. Inspector Tiwary of Allahabad promised any kind of help to Feluda. The Mitter found the hidden place of Mirchi Baba. The next morning, Maganlal was stunned to see a fishy ‘Mirchi Baba’. The detective got the 3 inch ‘Ganesh’ statue as his reward cum commission and the fans of Satyajit Ray shouted, “JAI BABA FELUNATH”.
