SAAJAN CHALE SASURAL !!!

Shyamsundar, the poor boy of a remote Indian village fell in love with Pooja, who is the daughter of a music teacher of that village only. To impress Pooja, Shyamsundar went there to learn music. Shayamsundar and his friends started dancing with the song, “Ram Narayana baaja bajata …jhoom jhoom jhumka laraa thaa…”

Near the lake, standing under the trees, Shyamsundar told them about his plans to hug Pooja. But, Pooja heard everything. The slap was more than enough to make him understand that playing fool with Saraswati Devi is a sin. He promised to himself that, one day, he will become a great singer.

Shyamsundar completed the course of classical music and went to the city to make his dream come true. There, he made a new friend, whose name is Muthuswamy. An idea came into their mind. They implemented it very well. Divya found Muthuswamy lying in front of her car.
The poor village boy literally impressed Divya’s father Mr. Khurana with his voice. Now, Shyamsundar has become a singer. He went to the village and paid back all the loans. But, where is Pooja? His friends confirmed that, she has died in the flood. Being emotionally depressed, he came back to the city.

Divya threatened to commit suicide, if Shyamsundar will not marry her. Ok, now, the hero is looking after his father-in-law’s business, but identified the fraud persons. The manager of Mr. Khurana was just thrown out of the house.

For some reasons, Divya was admitted to a hospital. There, Shyamsundar finds his first lover. Now, Mr. Shyamsundar is confused. Muthuswamy suggested him to perform the old tactics. Today, Divya wants to go to the same temple where Pooja and Shyamsundar will get married to each other.

Muthuswamy shouted "bhaag jaa re bhaag jaa"…That man escaped luckily, but Divya marched towards his office and found her hubby there. Wait, wait, I am confused. You are going to honeymoon with your wife; then what is the significance of the 2nd journey?

Arrey, how are you? How am I? Just few hours ago, when I called you, your wife boasted me and now you are giving response to me. Jaao, yaar, I don’t talk with you such beggars. Hello Khurana saab. Hello kaun bol raha hai, accha you are that thief, whom I kicked out of my house.
Good night, Sir. Baash, good night Sir…uff, you are earning double money as tips. Pooja and Divya danced with their respective hubbies with the song “Tum toh Dhokebaaj ho…vaada karke bhool jaate ho”. Unfortunately, Divya and Pooja met with each other at a jewelers shop and found that their hubbies look alike.

The drama continues. The villain finds a photographer, who is expert in merging two photos into one. He has murdered that man who looks like him. Oh! My goodness is it true. Have you ever seen Muthuswamy performing the snake dance?

Are the two ladies strong enough to get rid of that villain? Are they willing to share a common resource for the entire life? Is the statement, ‘Chota parivaar sukhi parivaar’ valid in this context. To let you know all these things in a nutshell, our David Dhawan made the film “SAAJAN CHALE SASURAL”, which features Govinda, Karishma Kapoor, Tabu, Kader Khan, Satish Kaushik, Satish Shah and others?
